Payment Options

At Jimaikin Engineering LLC, we accept secure online payments through PayPal and Stripe. All payments must be completed at checkout before an order can be confirmed and processed.

We do not accept cash on delivery, checks, wire transfers, or crypto unless explicitly stated on the checkout page.


1) PayPal

What you can use with PayPal

When paying via PayPal, you may be able to use:

  • PayPal balance

  • Linked bank account

  • Debit/credit cards supported by PayPal (depending on your PayPal settings and country)

How the PayPal payment works

  • At checkout, select PayPal as your payment method.

  • You may be redirected to PayPal to log in and confirm the payment.

  • After approval, you will return to our site and receive an order confirmation.

Processing time

  • Most PayPal payments are confirmed instantly.

  • If PayPal places a review on the transaction, confirmation may be delayed until PayPal completes the review.

PayPal disputes

If you open a PayPal dispute/chargeback, processing on the order may be paused while the issue is reviewed.


2) Stripe (Credit/Debit Cards)

Cards accepted

We accept major credit/debit cards processed via Stripe, such as:

  • Visa

  • Mastercard

  • American Express (where available)

  • Discover (where available)
    (Availability may vary depending on your country and card issuer.)

How card payment works

  • At checkout, select Credit/Debit Card (Stripe).

  • Enter your card details in the secure payment form.

  • Once approved, you will receive an order confirmation.

Authorization holds (important)

In some cases, your bank may place a temporary authorization hold (pending charge) when you pay.

  • This is not a final charge yet.

  • Holds typically drop off automatically within 3–10 business days, depending on your bank.

  • If a payment fails but you still see a pending hold, it is usually your bank’s processing timeline.


Payment Confirmation & Order Processing

When is an order considered confirmed?

An order is confirmed only when:

  • Payment is successfully authorized/processed, and

  • You receive an order confirmation via the checkout confirmation screen and/or email.

If payment fails

If your payment fails:

  • Your order may not be created, or it may remain unpaid/pending.

  • Try again using a different card, a different browser/device, or PayPal.

  • If the issue continues, contact your bank/card issuer first, then contact us.


Taxes & Fees

Taxes

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, tax is 0% (or not charged) for orders processed on our store. Any applicable tax rules shown at checkout are final.

Payment fees

We do not add extra processing fees for PayPal or Stripe.
However, your bank/PayPal may charge fees depending on your account type, currency conversion, or region.

Currency

All charges are processed in the currency shown at checkout. If your payment method uses a different currency, your provider may apply a conversion rate and fees.


Security & Data Handling

We take payment safety seriously:

  • Payments are processed by PayPal and Stripe, both industry-standard processors.

  • Our site does not store your full card number, CVV, or complete payment credentials.

  • We only receive limited transaction details needed to confirm payment and fulfill the order.


Fraud Prevention

To protect customers and reduce fraud:

  • Some orders may be held for verification.

  • We may request additional confirmation (e.g., billing details match, identity confirmation, or payment re-authorization).

  • If verification fails or fraud is suspected, we may cancel the order and refund the payment (when applicable).


Refunds (Payment Method)

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are sent back to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • We cannot refund to a different card, bank account, or PayPal email than the original payment route.

Refund timeframes (typical)

  • Stripe (Card): usually 5–10 business days (depends on your bank)

  • PayPal: often within 1–5 business days (depends on PayPal/bank processing)

Note: Refund timing can vary by financial institution. If you don’t see the refund after the timeframe above, contact your bank/PayPal first, then contact us with your order number.
